COACHING TEAM
Coach Gousie- Coach Gousie is a 1992 graduate of Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School, where he was a three year varsity player as both a RB and a LB. He captained the 1991 team, a team that went 10-1 with nine shut outs and allowed only 21 points scored them against them on the year. Coach Gousie continued his playing career at Westfield State University as a LB. Coach Gousie is also a veteran of the Army which he served for eight years. He received his Undergraduate and Masters degrees ’from Bridgewater State University and has been a teacher/coach in the Dighton Rehoboth School District since 2001 as both a football and baseball coach and as a Physcial Education teacher . Coach Gousie has served as a head freshman coach, a head JV coach and as both an assistant coach and an offensive coordinator at the varsity level. He became the 8th Head Coach in the programs history in 2020. Coach is also an active board member of the Massuchuettes High School Football Coaches Association(MHSFCA). Coach Gousie is a proud lifelong resident of Rehoboth where he lives with his wife, Michele and his three children, Autumn, Kevin Jr and Riley.
Coach Andrew Fyfe – Assistant Coach, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Football
Coach Andrew Fyfe, a proud Dighton native and graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, brings passion, pride, and firsthand experience to the Falcons football program. As a former Falcon, Coach Fyfe understands the tradition and hard work that define D-R football and is dedicated to passing those values on to the next generation of players.
Known for his positive attitude and strong connection with student-athletes, Coach Fyfe emphasizes fundamentals, team unity, and character development in his coaching. His experience as a former player gives him a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed both on and off the field.
Coach Fyfe is honored to give back to the program that helped shape him and is committed to helping every player grow into a better athlete, teammate, and person.
Coach Caleb Newman – Assistant Coach, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Football
Coach Caleb Newman, a 2022 graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, returns to the Falcons program with energy, dedication, and a strong understanding of what it means to wear the green and gold. A proud Dighton native, Coach Newman brings firsthand experience as a former player and a deep passion for mentoring young athletes.
During his time as a student-athlete at D-R, Coach Newman was known for his work ethic, leadership, and team-first mentality. Now on the coaching staff, he works closely with players to develop their fundamentals, boost their football IQ, and help them grow both on and off the field.
Coach Newman is committed to giving back to the program that shaped him and takes great pride in helping current Falcons succeed in the classroom, in competition, and in life.
Coach Ryan McCarthy – Assistant Coach, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Football
Originally from Newburyport, Massachusetts, Coach Ryan McCarthy brings a strong football background and a competitive edge to the Dighton-Rehoboth Falcons coaching staff. Known for his enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to player development, Coach McCarthy plays an integral role in helping athletes reach their full potential.
With a foundation built on hard work and discipline, Coach McCarthy emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and mental toughness in his coaching approach. His ability to connect with student-athletes and motivate them both on and off the field makes him a respected and valued member of the program.
Coach McCarthy is proud to be part of the D-R football family and is dedicated to fostering a culture of growth, unity, and excellence within the team.
Coach Adam St. Ours – Assistant Coach, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Football
Coach Adam St. Ours, a proud graduate of Coyle and Cassidy High School, brings a strong passion for football and a deep commitment to youth development to the Dighton-Rehoboth Falcons football program. Though not a former D-R player himself, Coach St. Ours has become a valuable member of the coaching staff, helping to instill discipline, work ethic, and pride in every student-athlete he mentors.
With a coaching style rooted in fundamentals, accountability, and team-first mentality, Coach St. Ours focuses on developing players’ skills while also building character and leadership. His energy and dedication to the game have earned him the respect of both players and fellow coaches.
A Dighton resident, Coach St. Ours takes pride in contributing to the community and helping shape the next generation of Falcons on and off the field. Coach St.Ours has five children (Cameron, Emma, Aubrey, AJ, CiCi) with his With Jackie. Coach is also the current Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach
